It was another Saturday and no one knew what to do! The weather forecast included an incoming weather pattern of heavy thunder and rain!
又是一个星期六，大家都不知道该干什么！天气预报说马上要出现的天气模式有大雷阵雨！
No need to water the lawn now! dad said. "How about going to a movie?"
“现在没有必要给草坪浇水！”爸爸说。“我们去看场电影怎么样？”
"I thought we were watching the expenses!" mom replied.
“我以为我们在注意花销呢！”妈妈说。
"Aw who cares about that!" dad answered. "We have a way of life that we have to uphold! We can't just NOT do something because we can't afford it!"
“噢，别管它！”爸爸回答道。“我们得维持我们的生活方式！不能因为我们负担不起就不做某件事！”
You watch your P's and Q's mister! mom said to him as she pinched him on the cheek and smiled. "We're supposed to weigh up the pros and cons of everything we do. I don't like it either! I wish I could just wave my magic wand and make us rich! But it ain't gonna happen! So you watch your step!"
“你要谨言慎行，先生！”妈妈说，她在他的脸上拧了一下并笑了。“我们应该对我们所做的每一件事权衡利弊。我也不喜欢这个样子！真希望我能魔杖一挥，让我们发财！可这样的事不会发生！所以你要小心谨慎！”
"I'll watch out for you all right!" dad said as he kissed mom back! "But we have to find some ways and means to do something today! We can't sit in this house all day; it'll just get more wear and tear! And it's already practically worn out! I say we let it be like water off a duck's back and we still go to a movie!"
“我会为你密切注意的！”爸爸边说边回吻妈妈。“可是今天我们得想办法做点儿什么！我们不能整天坐在家里，这样我们只会更加受折磨！我们实际上已经精疲力竭了！叫我说就让它像鸭背上的落水，我们还是去看电影吧！”
You want to go out? I'll show you the way out! then mom pulled dad to the back door and pushed him out! She smiled as he pounded on the door!
“你想出去吗？我会告诉你出口在哪里！”接着妈妈就把爸爸推到后门把他赶了出去！他捶门的时候她笑了。
Dave, Chuck, Sarah and baby Kim all just watched them! It looked like it was going to be another one of those Saturdays!
大卫、查克、萨拉和小宝贝金都看着他俩！看样子又要过星期六啦！
